UN report on the world economy

The United Nations has published a report on “the world economic situation and perspectives for 2008.” According to the study’s conclusions a slowing is to be expected. It provides an overview of recent global economic performance and short-term prospects for the world economy and of some key global economic policy and development issues.

On the decline in comparison with the record figures of 4% of the GWP (Gross World Product) in 2005 and 3.8% in 2006, should fall to 3.2% in 2007.
