Traducerea scrisorilor în limba engleză

Traducerea scrisorilor primite. Dacă o scrisoare este într-un format electronic editabil, pur și simplu editați originalul, deși nu trebuie să traduceți detalii irelevante. Cu toate acestea, dacă scrisoarea nu poate fi editată, utilizați un format simplu, după cum urmează:

(nume și, dacă este necesar, adresa pe un singur rând)

Ref.:

Text of the letter (fără formulă de început sau de încheiere)

Redactarea și traducerea scrisorilor trimise. Amintiți-vă expresiile de bază pentru început ți încheiere la scrisori:

Dear Sir/Madam … Yours faithfully

Dear Mr/Ms/Dr Bloggs … Yours sincerely

Tendința este spre o utilizare mai mare a celei de-a doua perechi, mai puțin formală, atunci când numele corespondentului este cunoscut. Cu siguranță ar trebui să fie folosit în scrisorile de răspuns adresate persoanelor fizice.

Rețineți că virgulele ar trebui plasate atât după formula de deschidere cât și după formula de închidere, sau după niciuna.

Scrisoarea 1

Început:

Sir/Your Excellency,

I have the honour …

Încheiere:

I should be obliged if you would inform me whether/confirm that your Government is in agreement with the above.

Please accept, Sir/Your Excellency, the assurance of my highest consideration.

Scrisoarea 2

Început:

Sir/Your Excellency,

I have the honour to acknowledge receipt of your letter of today’s date, which reads as follows:

(Insert text of letter 1)

Încheiere:

I am able to inform you/confirm that my Government is in agreement with the contents of your letter/I have the honour to confirm that the above is acceptable to my Government and that your letter and this letter constitute an agreement in accordance with your proposal.

Please accept, Sir/Your Excellency, the assurance of my highest consideration.

Încheiere:

(Mission No 1) avails itself of this opportunity to renew to (Mission No 2) the assurance of its highest consideration.
